Description: Sound prunes, prepared from sound mature plums dried and cured, with a correct size grade and compatible variety. Pitted to a high standard by the ashlock method.

Defect Standards: All fruit meets “A” Grade Standards as defined by the US Standards for Grade of Dried Prunes

Ingredients: Prunes, sorbic acid

Sensorial Specification

Colour: Dark blue to black, typical

Texture: Soft, typical

Odour: Typical, no foreign smelling

Taste: Sweet, typical, no foreign taste

Moisture Level: From 28 to 34%
